Earth Adventures are a fun way to spend time together and discover in nature over time as a family or a group - no one will do multiple trails quickly as each is a trip in itself. We have connected the adventures with a poster and titles to recognize your accomplishments and the good times spent together - as a family, group, class or school.
Posters & Titles:
As soon as your family or group has completed your first trail, post the map from the back of your book in a visible place (refrigerator, kitchen wall, meeting room). Next to each trail location is a circle for the creature sticker for that trail. Once you do the trail, add the sticker in the proper spot. It shows where you have been and provides encouragement to try some of the other adventures!
For subsequent trails:
There is a series of titles and levels to recognize those who have completed multiple adventures. You earn the title of "Earth Adventurers" for completing your first trail and can place the Earth Adventurer sticker on your poster in the top right circle on the right side. You earn new titles as you complete additional trails as noted below. Place the title stickers down the right side of the posters below the Earth Adventurer sticker as you earn them. How long will it take to do them all? That is a challenge!

Awards:
The trails do not have to be done in any particular order, however repeating a trail doesn't count. In addition, for each title you achieve, starting with "Earth Discoverers", you will earn a free pass or discount to an Adventure Earth Centre or HRM Recreation program or facility, plus a trail tool. To claim an award, please fill in the Trails Completion Form.
Celebrations:
Those who do multiple adventures will likely have similar interests and fun experiences to share. So we're planning a yearly festival to bring anyone interested together for an afternoon of fun and frolic in the outdoors. We'll take this opportunity to recognize those who have earned titles and present the awards. Possibly you'll meet folks you'd like to join up with for adventures in the future.
